- Do you own a horse, but feel there is so much more you want to learn?
- Do you want to fill in the “holes” in your equine education?
- Have you always wanted a horse in your life, but don’t know where to begin to learn what is involved in caring for and relating to these amazing animals?

Welcome to a program that honors the horse … and you.
This comprehensive program covers everything from general care and feeding, when to call the vet, how to set boundaries, how to halter, how to lead, how to tack up a horse, how to load a horse onto a trailer, how to connect with horses energetically and so much more.
Working with horses teaches us more about ourselves because in order to truly connect with them we must be totally honest and present. Once we develop this connection we begin to gain their trust and after we have their trust we are able to develop that deep relationship we always hoped was possible.
This program has been created to provide you with a comprehensive equine foundation. The program consists of ten live webinars, three textbooks, a webinar workbook, and two camps.
To complete the entire program and to receive your Equine Studies 101 Certificate, you must attend all ten webinars, attend the two clinics, achieve a passing score on the written exam and successfully complete the practical exam with the horses.
The webinars will be taught by lifelong horsewomen and industry leaders, Melisa Pearce and Joyce Cowfer.
In the camps, you will have almost 100% hands on time with the horses. The camps are held at facilities throughout the country. The camp days will be long, starting at 7AM (feeding the horses, mucking stalls etc.) and will end around 6PM with the evening feeding and bedding the horses down for the night. All camps follow a specific curriculum and are facilitated and taught by trainers who were especially selected by Melisa and Joyce. For more information about the camps, camp instructors and locations, visit the About the Instructors page.
